So you enjoy having to wait on a quest for absolutely no reason? You can do that on your own. Doesn't need to be forced wait times. It doesn't even make sense.

You don't even know if it was timed. It could have been based on the amount of relics recovered by the community. You don't have the whole story and you're basing your argument off of assumptions which is never a good thing.

I'm talking about EVERY quest that makes you wait until armsday to continue. I don't give a shit that we had to wait for the quest that occurred today. I wasn't knowingly allowed to start that quest, and then subsequently locked out. My gripe is that I'm completing challenges, and not receiving either my rewards, or the next relevant step to obtaining said rewards. I have to pointlessly wait for the next wednesday to be able to progress the only thing I actually cared about completing. They're trying to drag out play time, but it makes me want to quit until I can progress my quest.

So do you have a gripe with the weekly reset?/it's essentially the same thing. You have to wait a week to do the raid to get higher gear.

I'm able to COMPLETE those things within the week, then they restart on the reset to be COMPLETED again. So that isn't really the same. When I beat the NF/raid I get the rewards on completion. Imagine if you beat these things, then had to wait until the reset/armsday to receive your rewards. Or let's say you beat Golgoroth, but have to wait until next week to fight the next boss. That's a much more accurate analogy.
