I bought the taken King on my 360 and want to play destiny on my Xbox one. Problem is, it's telling me to pay 40 more dollars!!!

No solution, you bought it for 360 so it will be played on 360. If you would've bought it for the One, then you wouldn't have to pay again.

Opposite problem here. I got it for the xbone and all my buddies got it for the xb360. So I got on my xb360 and I pretty much can't do anything now. Last time, I got access on both, now I have to pay twice for the same account? Can you at least exchange one for the other?

Microsoft is the one you all paid and they said no refunds on digital purchases, not Bungie.
