I'm nervous about asking a girl to homecoming

This post may seem dumb, and I may seem as a stupid teenager venting out. But I'm truly freaked or by the fact I'm asking this girl to go to homecoming with next week. We've been close since a while ago, but there's always a part of me that thinks that's she's just gonna say "no" Any tips on how to be less nervous? Edit: Thanks to all who responded, I will ask her first thing tomorrow without hesitation :) Edit 2: SHE SAID YES!

 • You'll do fine. Just respect whatever she says, but chances are she'll say yes just to go as friends if not as a couple.

 • All those replies below are what I could say but I'll say this: do it. Worst thing that can happen is that she says no but you move on right? Be confident when you ask her.

 • If she says no then oh well. It's better then living the rest of your life with the thought of "I wonder what would have happened if I did ask her". You probably heard people say this before and Ima say it too. Nothing that happens in high school will matter when you graduate. I guarantee you. Been out for 4 years and I always laugh about how small high school problems were, and kick myself for being "scared or shy" back then and let it get in the way of things.

 • Do it, if she says no look her in the eye and say
no u (as illogical is it may seem)

but seriously, you should do it
• Think of it this way. She's probably worried no one will ask her and she's probably nervous to because of that. Or just dont be a puss. Worst she can say is no. Its not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Man up
