7 RepliesWould it be bad to jump into 5 as my first? It looks amazing, although stealth has never been my strong point, I'd much rather blow up the door and figure out what's going on by checking the dead bodies lolol I also watched a video on the story, like one of those story in 5 min deals, yeah really confusing shit there. Like everyone has 2 names, and there's clones and big boss is a chick? Oh my goodness it really turned me away from it.

1 ReplyEdited by Enter Name Here: 9/12/2015 4:21:43 PMOption 3 is Metal Gear Solid Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
with 2 solid's
1 ReplyMetal Gear Rising. Mostly because I haven't played much of the other Metal Gear games (I've only played a little bit of Sons of Liberty and even less of MGS 1), and that MGR is a kickass character action game. Soundtrack's great, too.

5 RepliesMGS2 is best IMO. It has the best gameplay mechanics in a stealth game to this day. Somehow MGS2 has better a cover system that MGS5. Controls are a little complex but its not hard to learn as some people may make it seem. I've played it more than any other MGS. Didn't really mind that raiden switch as I knew it was going to happen. I didn't know Solid Snake would come back in the cutscenes so that was a nice surprise. MGS3 is good but it's too slow IMO. Alot of the levels are just big grass patches with a few guards.whereas MGS2 is more streamlined interior spaces. MGS5 has a hybrid of these two . Also I didn't think the final boss fight and moments of MGS3 were that good. Bloodborne did the battle in a field of white flowers alot better.

4 RepliesI'm torn. I've been playing mgs since I first had a playstation. And even on the gameboys. The issue that bugs me is that MGS5 is nothing like it's predecessors. It's a very very different gamestyle. I'm not against change. But it's definitely going to be a very different experience from what we're used to so the chances of hit or miss are super high

1 ReplyMGS 3 and 4 hands down. Some of the greatest games I've ever played
-

1 ReplyI may be biased because it was the first I played and fit my play style more But Metal Gear Rising. Just loved the hack and slash mechanics of the game... It's a shame that we'll never see a sequel to it because Konami rather go to Gambling machines and mobile microtransaction games.
