You can't be serious. In a rng based game you just can't go get a gun. It's about balance that bungie has yet to get right. The suros could outgun any auto rifle, pulse rifle, scout rifle, and hand cannon in the game. The vex could outgun any auto rifle, pulse rifle, scout rifle, and hand cannon. The thorn and last word can outgun any auto rifle, pulse rifle, scout rifle, hand cannon, and heavy mg. If you think that people's skill level is why they complain, I think you're lost.

So what's stopping you to go and buy your last word from Xur? He only sold it 100 of times. And thorn? i bet you could've gotten Thorn bounty at least 10 times before. And there is always a counter weapon against any weapon in this game imo.

I've had my last word and and thorn since vanilla but from what I can remember I think xur only sold the last word 4 times? I'm not sure but he hasn't sold it a lot. Also yea the thorn and last word counter each other but my point was that nothing else can counter those two guns..

Try out out hopscotch or hawkmoon.

I'm on Xbox so no hawkmoon and no hopscotch but I do have a messenger. Don't get me wrong it's great but a thorn at range can do just as much damage and the last word in cqc is superior. That's the problem though, you can do this with every weapon and compare it to thorn and tlw and see they outclass everything

Did not know you guys don't have hopscotch on Xbox. But I see your point. Hopefully we'll get better weapons balance with a new dlc coming out.
