Atheists abandon all traces of logic when trying to formulate anti Christian arguments.
Atheists like to claim intellectual superiority, yet when attempting to make an argument against Christianity, they always fall short. While claiming to be the pinnacle of learned men, they lose all sense of logic, context, reading comprehension, and deductive reasoning when they erroneously create arguments in opposition to Christianity. If you want to reject God, so be it, but at least do it on the basis of what the bible actually teaches and not what you read on the internet.
Read, study, understand. Leave your pride and arrogance at the door. Context is a thing and its wonderful.

So get back to us when you have some facts to back you up. Otherwise have fun making a fool of yourself as you skirt the issue and project what you're doing on others.

No wonder atheists can't get it right, you Christians can't even agree on what it says yourselves. Truth is more often than not religion gives someone an excuse to believe what they want, rather than a specific direction to take their beliefs. You don't get very many people saying "Oh I want to be in favour of gay marriage but The Bible says I can't; that's why I'm picketing this gay wedding" or vice versa. People who agree with gay marriage quote one part of the bible and people who are against it quote another bit. Any contextual misinterpretation is based on your opinion on what the true interpretation is. The 'true' interpretation is - whether you like it or not - completely dependant upon what you believe, not what The Bible actually says.

12 RepliesYou're one to talk. You base your view of existence on the writings of an old book. When asked to defend your points, you give quotes from the book. When asked to prove that the book is a valid source, you respond that the book tells you not to defend your position to those that do not follow the book. When asked why you won't defend your position, you simply say that the other person is wrong and you are right, and that they are blind to reason for disagreeing with you despite the fact that you have given no logical arguments to support your position. I'm not quite sure you even know what logic is.
