But a nightfall "tier" would be higher than daily mission "tier" rewards. You're a moron if you missed that understanding. Get mad.

Nightfall still promises plenty of tears at the reward screen, don't worry.

Reference to the quality of the gear drops. Nightfall typically drops a guaranteed Legendary with a chance for Exotic.

If you complete 5 crucible bounties with Shax in one week you will receive a nightfall level reward. That's what he meant by tier - chance of an exotic for eg

No it means that after you complete the bounties the final bounty will reward you with nightfall like rewards.
