You Earned Your Gjallarhorn
You waited.
You put tons of hours into the game or maybe you've just started.
You earned your Motes and Coins and still played for the coveted Gjallarhorn.
You put in as much time as so many others (or more in many cases) who already had it.
You rock.
Whether you got it in a drop, purchased it way back, or grabbed yours today, you god damn earned that weapon. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise you fantastic mess (yes, I'm talking to those of you who are crying).
Couple things to note though:
- Don't give people you don't know or trust access to your account to buy Gjallarhorn;
- It's properly pronounced "yallarhorn" but that won't change much (I had to say it though);
- Seriously, keep your private information to yourself, please;
- When you breakdown in tears, try not crying on your hardware. Water damage is a pain.

I've heard that the Wolfpack Rounds are actually fuelled by the tears of those who have opened the Exotic chests and gotten materials.
Edit 2: Please play nice and be respectful to each other. No matter what, you earned your Gjallarhorn and anything else you got. No need to attack the other side. We're all Guardians here.

They're only letting you buy it because they're gonna nerf it soon. They expect everyone took pick a new favorite weapon when taken king drops so they're making it common now

I have had my Gally for several months now. With that being said, I think it is OK that it is being sold. I have friends that played this game as long as me and still haven't had one drop. I am happy for them and any other guardian who has had no luck at finding this great weapon.

I bought my first one from Xur when everyone shamed me for buying an exotic rocket launcher until I leveled it up and fired it into the loot cave. Since then I've found two more and helped others nightfall, Crota, Atheon and strike their way to getting one. Yes seeing it pop up or getting it from a purple engram is amazing but seeing day one players who sherpa and assist randoms finally get one or three is just fantastic. So I lift my heavy ammo synthesis to Heimdall as we all unleash hell and begin Ragnorok for Oryx and his Taken army.

Agreed. I mean, people literally complain about other people not having Gally (such as on the LFG sites), but soon as it's made available to everyone, the same people start complaining again that they haven't "earned it". C'mon, guys. Get it together.

1 ReplyYeah I can't believe grown ass men are crying in the forums lol. I've played a year, over 1200 hrs, have good stats and high kdr and seen so many ppl at the bottom of the scoreboard get it. I deserve to get it from xur, not my fault it didn't drop for me due to a crappy rng system. what is cool is I just switched to ps4 from xb1 and lost all my stuff, 3 34s, all exotics but gally. now my second exotic on ps4 is gally. my first was icebreaker a few days ago, so Im off to a good start for a brand new account.

We are now one, no more "must have gally" for raids or poe. People can now get accepted to do Skolas.
