Technically it is MMO quite simply stand for massive multiplayer online we have that. On the other hand its not an MMORPG like most other MMO have been to date. Just cause it went a different direction than RPG doesn't change the MMO side of it.

No it even isn't massive. They have many areas and many servers on each area. With MMO's, you pick a server out of a few and everyone there is there, no matter where you go. That's why I love Destiny, not crowded but social.

I can agree that its not a crowded mess like alot of mmo can be so lets say its very mmo like its same concept just scaled down a good bit

A very good bit. Tons of MMO features have been taken out, and trading is not an exception.
