It's okay, if you didn't know he was listening you probably didn't speak slowly for him to understand.

Well if he was raised there he might have learned English. I mean they learn secondary languages at young ages and many choose English since it's so common.

That's the thing he doesn't even sound polish, cos he was only born there and adopted he is a nice guy I was moaning about immigrants coming from there and totally forgot
