Rocks are insane. This has happened to me several times. Near the black garden portal, near the exo chest in the vault of glass. I landed near the gorgon river and died on a rock, my friend went back to the chest and died at one of the stalagmites after jumping only a few meters up.

It happened twice once at the last story mission the black garden and at the beginning of the shadow thief.
