Spartan II's and Spartan IV's?
Which generation of Spartan do you [i]like[/i] better? Personally I like both, they both have their own advantages and weaknesses, but the Spartan IV's win this one for me. I like the II's because they're the classic super-soldiers and they're very well trained. On the other hand I like the IV's just as much do to their more advanced armor and better connection to being human. What about you guys?
Edit: I'm not asking why you think one of them sucks or which one you think is better, I'm asking what do you [i]like[/i] about them. You can like them both, but please don't bother posting anything ignorant.
Keep in mind that these are [u]only[/u] opinions.

The story behind the Spartan-IIs and the Spartan-IIs themselves are more interesting than the S-IVs in my opinion.

The IIs had such great characters/people. (Read the books). The 3s had slightly more personality and did just as well, if not better, jobs then the 2s, but with shit for armor, less training, and started running ops at age 12, I think. They had great characters and some epic battles (onyx).The 4s were just a big joke. Basically marines with inexpensive versions of the 2s armor. They had more personality, but one 2 could take down 50 4s. The characters were awful.

7 RepliesSpartan II had harsher aguementations, training since age of 6. They are weapons. Spartan IV are just soilders who did well in the feild, were given safer aguementations, and newer power armor. Spartan IIs are objectivly better. This isnt an opinion. The sky is blue and the IIs are better than the IVs. [spoiler]my opinion is that I like the IIs more.[/spoiler]

13 RepliesThe amount of mad the OP is getting here is hilarious. Spartan IIs were kidnapped as children and trained to be the perfect killers and soldiers. They are weapons. Meanwhile IVs are just special soldiers with more training. They are far more expandable than the IIs were. SIIs win in both being more badass and better.

7 RepliesA single spartan II took 3 halo rings, killed the flood, and saved earth. Which spartans were in ghosts of onyx I can't remember? I II or IV? Because like 300 of them died for a single planet that they failed at, and more of them died to sentinels later on in the next generation, at least the like 4 surviving spartan II's get stuff done.
