Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.
Please remember that this is not a To-Do List for Bungie. We can’t promise that every idea is being worked on actively. Our goal here is to confirm that your feedback has been received. Everything on this list are things that the players of Destiny have repeatedly asked for.

Also new specials like exotic side arms

3 RepliesI have been playing since year 1 and love the game but in all the time I have had the game I have [i]never[/i] [b][i]ever[/i][/b] gotten to play a single Trials match or any raids. Why? Because I [b][i][u]can't![/u][/i][/b] because there is no matchmaking for them and I have never gotten a single reply to any of my lfg attempts! tl;dr: If Bungie doesn't add matchmaking for Trials and raids I won't ever get to play them.

Like the cabal shield but slimmer This is how it would work: The shield is powered by heavy synthesis and once selected it's paired with a side arm and will block anything even a super but a super will just about depleted fully. Just a few more normal shots after you took that super hit and it's gone. Also melee with that heavy shield is a one hit kill but you would not be able to run Perks: -melee kills with shield powers your super -side arm kills with shield grants fast reloads for a short time Exotic shield version: -incoming fire had a chance to fire back at enemy -kills side arm while blocking grants small health -charge blast (just like the ones on cabal taken shield but with elemental damage) Other thoughts: If we are allowed to run with shield and use it as shoulder charge one hit kills, these kills should take a large chunk of heavy like the exotic sword. Also running with the shield for kills will have you exposed and could be easily killed cause you won't be blocking Left trigger: block Right trigger:shoot side arm Left top shoulder button: shield blast (on exotic version) Right shoulder button: shield melee Edit: Credits to ColdSpring0676 for the basic idea

1 ReplyRemove stupid rewards from the nightfal. For example the gay vanguard shells. SRL packages seriously. Isn't that what Tess Everes has already. Make nightfalls worth doing again.

Reforge and custom matches. Sick of the same guns been over used and not been able to get rolls I want. It's ruining the fun.

I THINK THAT AFTER PAYING FOR 3 DLC'S WE SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH CONTENT TO PLAY AT LEAST AN HOUR WITHOUT GETTING BORED OF DOING THE SAME THING, SINCE AFTER FINISHING RAID ON ALL THREE CHARACTERS AND CHALLENGES IN ABOUT 2 DAYS AFTER RESET THERE IS NO MORE REASON TO GO TO DESTINY AGAIN... GOOD THING THERE ARE GOOD GAMES COMING OUT THIS YEAR..

Also Khvtoh of whatever the first gun you get (someone in the comments please clarify) but have a quest where you can refine it and make it become an exotic. I just love the sound of the gun so much.

Year 1 raids/prison of elders updated w/ year 2 versions of the raid gear. Ex: Word of Crota w/ 280 attack, PoE gear with 300 defense. Also have iron banner be bi-weekly. Finally, all strikes can be in the year 2 playlist and transmogrification(however you spell it)

Fix the Crucible netcode, that's the main thing. And while we're at it, how about some more matchmaking options. I'll take the ability to set matchmaking preferences for skill, connection, etc over more emotes that I won't buy. Also, can I please have the option to never join a game already in progress? There's usually a very good reason those slots are open, and I'd rather spare myself the headache.

It would be great if there was some balance to the nightfall rewards that align with light level much like exotic engrams at 311+. Please please please stop with the 280 xur purchases too.

Remember the one time your ship was actually useful, boarding the dreadnaught, imagine if there you could actually do that in patrol areas on demand, presumably on a cooldown of some kind or linked to a consumable.
