The sad truth about Vanilla weapons.

We all want them to come back. Everyone wants The Devil You Know or THE SWARM, and eventually they'll bring weapons like those back. But just know that perks like hammerforged on fusion rifles and shotguns, or field scout on machine guns will be gone. The old weapons won't be the same ever again. Think about it, if they brought back all of the original weapons, unchanged, it would make the new ones mostly useless. Unfortunately, they'll bring them back with the new upgrade system.

  • It's simple; somewhere along the line we can toss in a throwback event and the vendors can give out old fan favorites as exclusive event prizes. Maybe the new and improved weapon manufacturers will put their branding on them and then give them to their most loyal supporters? Something like that.
