A man in a grey and maroon trench-coat pursues Clink down the tunnels and passageways of the Cedyetican Underground, quietly slipping around every corner he turns, every person he passes.

Edited by HappyChappy7: 7/13/2015 5:18:27 AMBy now, Clink has noticed his follower, and waits for the perfect time. After he turns a corner, he waits behind the wall. Once his pursuer turns the corner, Clink grabs him with his robot arms, pins him up against the wall, and pulls out a kitchen knife with his real arms. "Who the hell are you, and what do you want?"
-
The Pursuer simply looks at you, his face bland and devoid of emotion. His irises are a vibrant blue. He does not struggle. "A Cyborg, I see for the second time. One with the intent of murdering and thieving. A Sewer rat."
-
Clink is clearly pissed now. "Hey, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to survive. But you wouldn't know about that, would ya, ya dirty -blam!-ing Synth?"
-
The Pursuer narrows his eyes. "You have a keen sense of cybernetics, like any Cyborg should. Though who is really the dirty one here?"
-
Clink looks down and sees his coat is covered in blood. He glares back up at the Synth, who is still pinned to the wall. "That's for you to decide. Now why are you following me? Did someone send you?"
-
"That's not how we play this game, Cyborg. You must find answers to those mysteries by doing more than talking." Then, with a burst of an unseen force, Clink is flung away from the Pursuer and tumbles onto the cement behind him. The synthetic man plants his boots back onto the ground, readying himself for a backlash from Clink.
-
Clink gets on his hands and knees and gets his breath. "-blam!-ing Synths always -blam!-ing things up." He jumps up, propels himself up with his arms, straight toward the Synth. He lands with his boots in the Synth's chest, knocking the wind out of it. Clink slowly walks up to the Synth and slams his mech hands onto the synth's arms, effectively crushing them. He takes another pair of mech arms and smashes the legs. "There. I did more than just talk. Now give me some answers or I'll rip your worthless circuits out."
-
The crippled Synth lies slumped against the wall, glancing at his smashed limbs, which leak white, milky blood from squirming wires and severed tendons. His face doesn't show a trace of pain, since he has no nerves. He looks back up at Clink. "Impressive applications. Where those came from seem to be more important than where I do, don't you think?"
-
"Being the right-hand man to the person who runs the sewers has its perks," replies Clink. "What's your name? Were you following me just for the hell of it? If so, you made a bad mistake."
-
"Ah, now I know of your true importance to your execution. And my name is simply a unit-code, and you can guess where that's from." the Pursuer says.
-
"My execution? The -blam!- you mean my execution? We run the law down here. Any cops or drones are paid off by us. You have less of a chance of finding an honest cop down here than you do a synth that can feel pain."
-
"No one 'pays off' my kind, here. I'm an Insufferable." Suddenly, the unseen force, possibly kinetic, starts flinging the scraps of the Pursuer's limbs at Clink, blinding you with the white blood and synthetic innards.
-
"SHIT," yells Clink as the acidic blood hits his skin. Clink puts his arms in front of his eyes in a vain attempt to shield himself. The tiny pieces of metal get into his skin, causing him to freeze up in his left top arm. Summoning all the remaining strength he has left, Clink takes all five of his working arms and plunges them deep into the chest of the synth, while muttering, "there's got to be something important in there."
-
As the acid fades from your vision, you see the Synth is... dead? Its eyes are completely white, and its body is limp. Could you have actually killed a Synth?
-
Clink looks down at the synth in astonishment. Never before had he seen anything like this. Maybe this was some new kind of synth? There was only one way to find out. And, if he was lucky, he would get the answers he needed. Without further ado, Clink grabbed the synth with his mech arms and began the journey to the Family's safehouse.

Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/13/2015 6:36:12 AMIn the deeper levels of the Sewers, a man with pale eyes and a bald head paces around, alone and vacant of a soul. Suddenly, he stops, and his eyes are filled with a vibrant blue. They stare aimlessly for a moment, and then cross into focus. "Insufferable," the man says to himself. He now walks in a certain direction, to the higher, more familiar levels of the Underground.
-
Clink walks into the safehouse and immediately walks down into the basement and throws the seemingly dead synth down on a table. He contacts the Family's head engineer, Pax Galante. "Hey Pax, I got something for you here. It's a synth. I don't know if it's dead. Yes, it had white blood. It was following me! What was I supposed to do? Give it a pat on the back and send it home?!" during the call, the synths eyes flicker. Not the vibrant blue before, but now a pale red.

((Wait, the Pursuer's original body or the new one?))
-
((The original one. After the Pursuer changed bodies, it's aggro mode was engaged. Not that it'll work very well))
-
((How the hell did you know there was aggro-mode for vacant-minded Synths???!! That was totally in the lore for these guys!)) The dismembered body of the Pursuer writhes and wriggles on the table, and tries to get itself off of it.
-
At that moment, Pax comes in the door, runs over to the synth, and grabs the pad on its arm. Within 5 seconds, the synth has fallen silent. "What was that all about?" Asked Clink. "Damn synth went aggro," said Pax. "It's gone to another body. But if you want to find it, just use the codes for it on your pad. It'll show up on the map." Clink looked at Pax respectfully. "So is this a new synth or what?" He said. "Not exactly a new synth," said Pax, "but more like an empty one. This one has programming that allows it to 'die,' we'll call it. It really just shuts down and activates aggro mode after a few minutes. But the second you disrupt a major circuit board, or hit it in the major head center, it shuts down and sends its programming to another shell of a synth, which receives the programming and essentially becomes that synth." "Impressive," noted Clink. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go find that damn synth, and get me some questions answered, or by God I'll kill every synth in this goddamn city."
-
Clink sets down the phone and sits down to wait for Pax. He hears a faint rumbling in the room. Curious, he gets up and looks at the synth. Its whole body is shaking, and it's staring straight at Clink with pale red eyes. It's clearly trying to attack him. Clink has decided he's had enough of this synth and all these mysteries, and shoves an arm so far into its head that it has enough force to punch a hole in the table.
-
The Synth shakes a little more with a gaping hole in its head, and then slowly fades into deactivation. ((I've gotta go to sleep because of work tomorrow, so see you soon! We can most likely continue this tomorrow in the morning, during my lunch break, and after work.))
-
((Sounds good. I'll most likely be on all day on and off. See you then))

The man with the blue eyes is getting into the higher Sewer levels. Every man who has questioned him on his journey he had killed, stomped them out like the Sewer rats they were. But he has a particular rat in mind that needs extermination...
