I feel like Oryx is the first real competitor with Atheon. Maybe they'll drop the ball and he'll just be a big bullet sponge that walks around slowly looking pretty. However, I'd imagine the god of dark armies will have a couple neat god-like powers up his sleeve. He does possess the power to corrupt any race into his own...so maybe he can do timey wimey things to.

Be awesome if he could control a guardian and that player couldn't stop themselves from attacking their team mates for a short while

I thought about that too. Not sure if you're familiar but it reminds me of a PvP mechanic in the game Haze. Ps3 exclusive from like 2007 or 2008. Maybe you could control your character enough to fight it and try and either kill yourself or miss your shots, but overall your on an uncontrollable killing spree.

Not aware of Haze but that sounds like a good twist to the fight.
