That's because it's not a word. Interim, however, is a word. But they never said there would be one, people just assumed they would get one. As for this update not being great and trials being laggy, not sure what you mean.

Trials and all crucible is randomly laggy as fack... POE is a joke, just three weeks in I'm kinda sick of the same thing over and over... He strike was fun ish, but not having a raid really let everyone down.

Trials has been ok for me connection wise, but PoE is definitely not what I expected. If you're a strictly PvE guy I understand, because to me trials is one of the best things they added, even if it's frustrating as hell sometimes. PoE seems like more of a chore than fun at times.
