PETITION: BAN PRE HoW Legendaries From Crucible
This is pretty messed up. People should not have snipers with final round while others cannot obtain a gun with that perk.
Once more, how is it fair for players to use felwinter's with hammer forged while others need to rely on reinforced barrel?
Removing field scout is a big slap in the face for a majority of players. There's also a glitch to switch this perk with another before using a special ammo crate so you can get more ammo.
Furthermore, pre-HoW IB guns can be re-rolled for their previous perk rolls, while current IB guns cannot receive the same benefits. [b][i][u]THATS MESSED UP!![/u][/i][/b]
edit* - This does not have to apply to raid weapons, since they are obtainable and remain unaltered.
edit 2* - why are all of you butt hurt? over a few crucible weapons I'm receiving threats? Smh
edit 3* - It seems like without your weapons, you're all just defenseless. What a shame.
edit 4* - hurry guys lets have this happen before the next ToO.
edit 5* - Guys, this is only for crucible. If a special snowflake 'earned' his gun, then he's entitled to use it for PvE or let it sit in the vault like a collection should be - unused.

They should take out the bs perks like final round and stuff, but there are many legendary guns from vanilla (ex. My strange suspect) that you can't get anymore, but it's a normal weapon

Yeah, from a game balance perspective, allowing legacy weapons seems to run counter to it, if that's the reason why they removed certain perks from certain weapon types. If they just did it for variety, that's different, but considering which perks got removed from which weapon types, I suspect it was for game balance purposes... which is defeated by all the people who hoarded the legacy weapons. I can understand the concerns about final round snipers, although I think the jury is still out on whether the oldschool Felwinters are better than the new shotguns, which can easily get the same range, at least on paper, as Felwinter (whether it actually works that way in the field, I don't know, as I haven't really tested it, although I find Matador 64 with range perks to be as beastly as Felwinter's Lie. Then again, this entire game is RNG-based, so really, short of restricting Iron Banner to very specific sets of gear/weapons, Crucible will always be unbalanced, between the haves and the have-nots. :(

It's your own damn fault. I laugh at everyone who said "I'll just skip all these months and come back with HoW because I can hit max rank in a day" and yet you people complain about not getting the weapons that were sold pre-HoW

2 RepliesI don't understand this kind of approach. How about this approach instead: "Bring back pre-HoW weapons for everyone to purchase, and make the vendors cycle their inventories so that every DLC expands the weapon inventory instead of replacing it"?
