These guys are awesome... (Trials of Osiris)
I just completed my very first Flawless run of the Trials of Osiris less than an hour ago on my Warlock. Hadn't had any success recruiting randoms, so I post a thread on the forums begging for help from Flawless players.
A lot of random jerks gave me the usual "git gud scrub" BS, but a few guys actually said they were willing to help... and the one I ended up with? Turns out he and his friend have completed Flawless runs of the Trials of Osiris over a dozen times. Basically, after they did it on all of their characters, they went on to helping other players to complete flawless runs of the Trials; in fact, I think they went straight to helping another player right after they finished with me.
I don't know about you, but I think that is AWESOME, and incredibly selfless that these guys would spend their whole weekend just helping other players to beat Trials of Osiris. I'd give a proper shout-out to them, but there's that rule about not posting other player's gamertags on the forums...
Kudos to my new friends for helping me out. Couldn't have done it without you boys.

I teamed up with 2 top blokes earlier M-Karisma and almightycheese. Almightcheese said half through our win streak "feel like you guys are carrying me" i had to point out that he is armed and firing down on every one we meet. I was just getting lucky last shots or when i used thorn lucky burn that's the only reason i got kills. He also had quick revive on for us and one game double revived us for a clutch win. Its a team game and you don't all have to be a death machine to win. He held his own when we needed it and he revived us when we needed it. I ended up going flawless as well as i used a boon sadly we lost our final game so we finished at 9-1 for my two team mates while i was stoked i went flawless i felt rubbish i didn't deliver for those 2. My view is that you really cant be carried through ToO being carried is your idle in the corner and do nothing. If your moving about firing your gun your contributing your skill might not be there but your still contributing to the team and making a difference.

1 ReplySounds like good people. You don't have to post who they were but if anyone wants to know all they have to do is look in your recent matches history and see who was in your fireteam... that should be good enough.

4 RepliesI'm decent(ish) at crucible, I just can't find a reliable team that I can consistently play with to get a 9-0 scorecard. It'd be nice to be able to grab at least one elemental primary before the reset, but idk if anyone on xbox 360 would be willing to help.

That's awesome! I've been trying to find people to help me get my Hunter to just 5 wins but my internet has been acting up all day, matching my teams with people using an switchers and crap. Had no problem on my Warlock...

Sounds like you had a fun time which is great. The carry thing is very subjective. Another guy was posting about how HE had gone 9-0. I reminded him trials is not rumble. Looking at his stats his mate had clearly done most of the work. So even in a team of 3 friends, some carrying goes on.
