DONE with this "treasure key" BS!
Like many of you, I spent countless hours this weekend grinding the "wolves" events in search of treasure keys. It was fun for about the first hour or two... but after that it was irritating beyond belief.
I found 2 keys and 2 legendary engrams.... and a shit ton of blue engrams.
I can't believe they actually thought this would be a good idea or fun for us players. HoW isn't even out yet and I'm already feeling completely let down. The mindless idiocy of running back and forth between 2 spots on a map... fighting the same fight over and over and opening chest after disappointing chest.... is this a sign of what the rest of the DLC is going to be like?
I'm sure many of you will disagree with me and that's likely because these forums are filled with a lot of people who will be fans of the game no matter how much it goes to shit.
Anyway... If I'm doing a patrol bounty and stumble across a wolf event, I'll stop and do it... but beyond that... I'm DONE with that tedious grind!

Well, yea the grinding was starting to get really tiresome, i feel you on that. BUT it felt better doing it with my 5 buddies on Venus joking and messing around the whole time while waiting for those "wolves" events. However i still only got 2 keys after like almost 4 hours, definitely don't wanna keep grinding that ish day after day....

for us we could either do Crota for the 50th time or spend that time doing keys - and public events hahaha We did the keys - more fun right now - buddy got 2 keys so he is pumped! Was fun - was like raiding BUT with big action and the 1:30 countdown hahha - GO GO GO DO YOU SEE IT! TY Bungie!

Do the 6 man patrol with friends on Venus, it's really fun that way. You end up just wrecking the wolves and it becomes awesomely mad sparrow race to see how many times you can get a chest. This small content has been a ton of fun for me. The keys and everything else has just been extra. Though I got 6 keys from only 5 or so hours of farming.

Farming the wolf events is exactly that... farming. Pretty simple stop farming lol. People farm in games and yes uts boring as -blam!- but they do it for the reward

It's farming you dumb shit. It's not he most entertaining form of gameplay. But it is a lot of fun. Fast and easy rewards and dicking around with friends and the "enemy's move" public events. It's fun, so cool your jets zippy

I have 2 and I am completely happy. I don't have this crazy need or desire that I need more in order to be happy with playing Destiny. Farming isn't required, I play the game with friends and that is what makes Destiny enjoyable every week.

It's a great idea, I loved it, I just didn't waste time grinding for treasure keys and then go on the forums to complain about my voluntary grinding of said keys. #Logic.
