To all those 'thorn is not OP' posts.
You guys always say its not the gun, but its the player's fault. I disagree. This gun can put the best crucible player to the ground with 2 headshots. This gun IS overpowered and you thorners just don't want it nerfed.
If you want to flame me for not being good in crucible, go ahead. Idc, my skill is higher than yours anyway. I still have to see an flamer with a higher kd here...
Edit: all these scrubs flaming don't want their thorn nerfed.... ;)
Edit: most of you guys could only whine about 'lucky' headshots, so i changed that.
Yet another Edit: i'm not saying that the thorn owns me, i outgun them 80% of the time. But that doesn't take away the fact that its too powerful. A simple stability or range nerf should suffice.

Holy shit there is a easy way to tell if a weapon is OP. The majority of players are using it. Suros is a classic example, everyone used it. When I see people using thorn shotgun combo I just call them thorn wan[b]k[b]ers[/b][/b]and crack on. I personally use the oversoul edict. I liked it before PvP which I've only just started playing. In conclusion, if you can't aim properly and rely on 1/2 shot kills use thorn, shotgun combo and wait around for your heavy ammo.

1 ReplyThorns impact should be lowered by 14 damage (however the math works on that) Then make it so the thorns renew the poison effect. It will force players to play slower to create longer lasting burns, instead of the 2 shot insta kill.

No. Don't you dare nerf my Thorn. I intentionally don't use it in PvP because I was using it two weeks after launch, I know how bad it can be when it's nerfed, it was still really fun but it's nice that they've buffed it to be more widely accepted, no more of the "Stop using Thorn, it sucks" comments,

2 RepliesThe fact that you can out gun thorn 80% of the time goes to show that it is easily countered and doesn't really need a nerf. Also I counter thorn about 60%of the time with VoC. So, ya know, strafe?

After playing against the weapon, it really can be cheap at times. However, it's definitely not impossible to counter.

Hi. Thorn user here. Also 1969 and timurs lash user. Thorn not op. All hand cannons with crowd control can 2 shot head shot. Why shouldn't an exotic hand cannon be able to do it without crowd control. [spoiler]Also you'd have to play crucible enough to make your KD worth mentioning.[/spoiler]

This gun is broken ANYONE can do good with it. My little brother ONLY 12 played his FIRST pvp game with thorn and he reckt with it ....this gun is broken and requires ZERO skill just push down your r2 button twice and boom

I have thorn and yes it is overpowered, but I don't think a nerf will do as well as a buff to auto rifles

It needs an aim assist nerf and maybe increased recoil. I'm on the fence about 2 shot weapons. If we get a high impact exotic scout it'll help to decide better compared to it
