The manga of berserk is way better and the anime didn't even come close to the bulk of the story.

Yeah definitely. No idea why they cut the original anime short tho as there was plenty in the manga to warrant a 2nd or 3rd season.

Well you know they re-released that series into 3 movies which wasn't bad, but still I'm with you on why didn't they continue it. They did the same thing with Gantz.

Yeah I've only seen the 1st movie tho. Was a little disappointed so didn't bother with the other two. Probably only because I thought the original was so good. Not read or seen any of gantz though will have to give that a look.
