Can't get past level 26
I'm having trouble getting past lvl 26. I've done plenty of strikes and few Eris bounties and a lot of regular bounties. I have rank 1 Vanguard and FWC. Do I just need to get them to level 2 and 3 to really do anything?

Find the gear that fits your play style Fwc is dicipline and intellect (gernades and supers Level that and only that Buy the armour Level it up Ps isn't it sad there isn't a certain pve event that helped many of us bridge that 20-26 gap to do vog??

Only level one of them. If you level both it will take too long.

9 RepliesEasiest way is get to lvl 2 on vanguard for gauntlets and boots lvl 3 for helmet and chest piece. Run rocs for marks. Do some raid study so you know what to do and get in on VOG that gear will get you some lvl 30 gear. Then do the same once your at 30-31 with Crotas end . Just make sure you get on YouTube and do your homework on the raids they have been out for so long ppl aren't generally very receptive when you don't know what your doing at all. Don't worry about Eris it's only useful for murmur and xp to lvl up your gear.

When iron banner comes back call in sick and get the gear. It's light level 36

You can keep grinding your Vanguard level/marks up to buy faction armor. Once leveled, a full compliment of faction armor will bring you to level 30. Or you can tackle the Vault Of Glass raid and you might get a lucky armor drop each week. I recommend doing both. Once you're high enough level to enter the Crota's End raid, keep doing that until you've got all the current raid armor to make level 32.

You need VOG or Crota. You can't rank up from getting XP anymore. You need better armor with more light. This can be obtained by completing checkpoints in VOG or Crota or buying vendor armor from vanguard, crucible or the 3 fractions

Strikes to get your vanguard (not faction) rep up. You'll probably eventually get legendary stuff through that, but if not you can at last buy the vendor gear

Blue gear only gets you to level 26. You need to focus on doing roc strikes and the weekly heroic to get a faction up. Don't do 2 factions at the same time, that's slow af. I'd recommend leveling up vanguard because crucible marks are slow to get.

You need legendary gear. Get to rank 3 and buy vanguard gear. Or try to find a vog group. When you get to 30 try crotas end to get to 32. Good luck.

If you have FWC class items then it'll upgrade your FWC rank, not vanguard. If you have any non-faction class item, you upgrade Vanguard not FWC. Just a little reminder.

Get your vanguard rank to 2 and buy the armor, also save up and buy an exotic helmet for your first exotic piece when xur sells one as good legendary helmets are rare.

Vault of Glass armor drops will be your quickest way to get to 30.

Level up your vanguard with bounties, strikes and patrol missions. Also if you can, do the weekly. It'll help you level it up. Max out your vanguard marks. Save up your coins and get yourself ab exotic weapon or/and armor. Before you know it you'll be 31
