I hate XUR. He ruins PVP
I'm not looking forward to the iron banner. Hell I might even go back to playing titanfall fort a while until people get tired of using the last word.
I think the exotic weapons you get from Xur should have one less perk, compared to the people that "earned" them.
Don't come at me with "Oh, but I did earn it! I worked hard for the strange coins." My response to that is. ..no..no you didn't. You could have easily been CARRIED through the weekly heroic strikes. You could have had a Bunch saved up from decoding engrams, doing public events. .etc.
The people that EARNED their exotics should have the better of the two. We grinded week after week in hopes of obtaining that of which we seek. We did our nightfalls, we did six runs of crota each week, we got the gorgon chest on our characters, We played countless Vanguard ROC strikes and we played countless amounts of PVP matches and when we FINALLY get it, We feel great...people who "xurn" stuff can't say they earned it. It fell into their lap.

Case in point. I got a last word from crota normal this week. It was my first time as sword bearer, and we were just being silly the whole time. The raid was super easy, we didnt wipe once, and Ididnt even notice I had it untill I went to switch weapons.

Or jump into a crucible at the last second and get it with no kills? Did I earn that? OR the many threads I've read about helpful guardians helping 30's through raids? Did they 30's earn it even though they were "carried"? My suggestion for you.... Shhhh.

2 RepliesYou could have easily been carried through crota or nightfall. Other than VoG, there really isnt a single activity that isnt solo-able, and even with VoG, one needs only join a group with gorgon checkpoint to get loot for no work. Your argument that strikes are less valid, is invalid.

So I earned my truth when I picked up a legendary heavy engram, the day after I reached lvl 20, in a random strike and it was decrypted to a truth as opposed to doing 3 strikes (on a much higher level than that random strike I got truth from I should say) to get the coins to buy a weapon with? That makes complete sense.

2 RepliesWhen I get an exotic i don't feel anything you described. I'm just like cool, i got lucky. There is nothing else to it. You don't earn anything in this game, BECAUSE IT IS RNG. Its random, the only surefire way to get an exotic is from xur so enough of your self entitled bullshit, and stop acting like a child.
