Raiding with Brits
British people have got to be the most fun people to raid with. I mean, how can you not have a good time with their accents?.

The answer to the question is this. You can't judge a nationality by a handful of people. Every country has douches as well as we some people. I myself am a Brit but I don't mind who I raid with

2 RepliesI two man Crota every week with a British friend (I'm American). We have the same sense of humor so we just joke around the whole time and it's fun. He makes jokes about Americans being fat and I joke about the British having bad teeth. It's all in good humor.

I'm in EST and play a lot during the day so I get into a lot of Brit groups and love it. They are even polite when they tea bag you. It's a lot of fun and they generally have a good sense of humour.

Raiding with them can be a fun experience until you meet that one guy that takes things way too seriously.

I agree. Every time I LFG on the forums I join on a British group and they are always -blam!-ing awesome! Skilled, funny and amazingly polite. I'm American from Los Angeles, California and it seems like when I find people who are also from around me they are always douches and cünts.

I love playing with them, last night I was making my 4th character (used to have 3 warlocks... Yeah I know I was a scrub). I met some guy at the moon that was level 9 first character ever, so I picked him up and ran through some stuff before he had to leave. But it was funny cuz he never learned how to use Glide correctly, he would just spam the A button, haha. It was fun tho!

It is pretty fun to raid with Brits. I have a handful on my friends list and sometimes they invite me to raid when they are stuck or need another person. I have to say that the most fun I have had was raiding with them. My "normal" raid team isn't on very often anymore and it always becomes very heated when we get frustrated. With the Brits everyone complimented or was rooting on the survivors. The only bad part is the time difference. When it's 8:30 pm my time it's like 5:30 am their time.

As a Brit, I always enjoy raiding with our cousins from across the pond. My first experience was with a group of Americans doing CE on normal. Everything went fine up to Crota but then a big argument broke out over who was going to do sword. No one wanted to do it. In the end somebody reluctantly agreed but he really didn't want to. He then proceeded to destroy Crota in one and a half swords. I really don't know why he was so worried about doing it.

One time on VOG we were talking about Harry Potter cause some guy we were raiding with sounded like him and out of nowhere he just randomly says expelliarmus! It was the funniest thing ever! They have to be the funniest people to raid with tbh
