Raiding with Brits
British people have got to be the most fun people to raid with. I mean, how can you not have a good time with their accents?.

1 ReplyIm not gonna lie, laughed the first time when I heard one say hobgoblin. Then another laugh when one british bloke's girlfriend started getting into a heated rant about americans in the background. Hilarity. I think there were tears. They can be interesting to raid with. Got quite a few on my friend's list. Usually polite and helpful.

I'll take a brit over a 9 yo squeaker any day. Plus when I was young we had two British exchange students, and we'll they where just funny as shit.

This is 100% true I raid in the Am with them all the time and it's funny as Sh!t. Most seem to be better players than the average forum people as well which is mostly the kids after school I guess. I did play with a 12 year old Brit and his mom kept yelling at him to get off and do his homework. That was clearly the funniest argument I've ever heard and the words were the same I'd been yelled at with my parents... It's the accent man!

I was in a Crota Hard with one fellow American and what I presumed were four guys from the United Kingdom. Everything was glitching to high hell and yet everyone held their nerve. Good game. My only regret is only jumping in at the end. It would have been great to game with that group from the start.

I'm from the UK, most of my clan are from the States. We have a right laugh when raiding. That's what it's about at the end of the day. A lot of people take this game to seriously!

Agreed. Most of the folks across the pond seem to be more easy going, easier to talk to and joke with and not so anal. It seems like they actually play the game to have fun and not to be a god at it.

The England accent is soooo varied, take the London accent and the Newcastle accent. They are miles apart. And don't forget you also have Wales Northern Ireland and Scotland in Britain aswell. And all them are really varied, some of which are FAR from posh or good to listen too! Anyways, I enjoy raiding with my fellow Brits also, it's nice to be understood. :D Edit: this isn't aimed at the maker off the post. More those commenting that it sounds posh.
