I only use it because everyone was walking around with the raid chest piece. Personally I like playing Voidwalker so other than looks HOTPF doesn't do anything for me.

For sure. I prefer sunsinger and Claws of the Ahamkara. Not only do they look badass but the give me two flame shields.

Claws + Monte Carlo = 3 flame shields :)
