I think the picture in your second speculation is the spiritbloom chest. There is another team that was searching for another chest but i can't find the topic animore. They told about all things they've tryed. Things like taking the relic back to the maze. Trying to finish it in certain ways. It was clearly explained. I shall continue the search.
