Hmmm I think its kinda unfair. I'm catholic myself, and at first glance I agreed with you, but when I actually thought about it I had to disagree.
Usually the people who aren't assholes about if are just the people who don't bring you down about it or bring it up and stuff. Like think about every single person you know, and I'm sure a few of them are atheist but still have a respect for those of faith. The people who do show disrespect toward it are there but they're definitely more vocal than those who show respect and thus seeming like there's more than there actually is.

Exactly, like I don't care what you believe, just respect the fact that we have a difference of opinion and we can be the best of friends. Most of us understand that religion brings a lot of good to a lot of people, we just don't like having other peoples views pushed on us when there is little to no proof. It's just a difference of opinion, whatever floats your boat.
