VoG hidden chest confirmed?

2 RepliesNot sure if anyone has noticed, but when you leave Atheon's room before you kill the Gatekeeper (yes you can leave it), and climb back on the wall most people use to skip the jumping puzzle , there is an alcove which you can go into. It is in the shape of a "T", and at one end there is a raised block with light shining on it. It is right after the "slip-spot" (the one spot on the wall where you get bumped off) on the wall if you're coming from Atheon's door, or right before it if you're coming like you just skipped the jumping puzzle. Sadly there was no chest when I went in. However, it might be a possible pedistool for a chest and I just didn't unlock it (perhaps the chest requires you do something first like the anti-templar-teleport chest). Also, not sure if it is there before you get to Atheon's door (aka before you clear the jumping puzzle part of the raid). Haven't been able to play since I'm grounded, but will post photo/vid if this is a place not already discovered and when i get ungrounded.

1 Replychest 1: trials of kabr chest 2: Templar's well chest 3 & 4: gorgon's labrynth and you get stuff when you beat each "checkpoint", say like when you beat the Templar, you get something (asides from the chest). unless you got balls as big as the traveler, you can check other parts of the gorgon's labrynth, but I think there is only 4, and only in the places I stated.

4 RepliesIt's all a lie to get players to keep playing! Vog has been completed! just 1 big scam like the game itself! If bungivision said we all missed a ghost @ the start of the game many would reset a character to try & find it! Even if it didn't exist!

Watch it be another chest that contains just spirit bloom and an uncommon item. Omfg lets go look for this shit asap!! VoG is really old, stop building up hype when you know there's going to be nothing good that comes from it. It's ascendant materials that are useless, outdated, and honestly if you give a shit about getting those you're insane.

Unless it guarantees exotics or at min legendary weapons who needs more ascendant mats. I play for fun once in a while but I'm not treasure hunting til confirmed

2 RepliesIf they wanted people finding this chest maybe they should have at least upgraded the VoG weapons, and not made the armor obsolete the second the dlc dropped. I really wish they had done that, VoG is a much better raid than Crota, but I have no incentive at all to run VoG anymore besides something to do when I'm bored.

9 RepliesThey didn't confirm a chest at all. In typical Bungie fashion, they gave a vague answer and passed the buck. I'm pretty sure Bungie is a small branch of the government. They take your money, provide you with services less than expected, and when you ask for something, they either ignore you, or beat around the bush for 6 months. Dont do VoG because there [i]might[/i] be something else to find, but because its actually fun.

1 ReplyI was doing the VOG a whiiiile ago (pre-Dark Below), and one of the guys led us to this cliff face. It was super dark, and I could barely see anything, and there were multiple sketchy ledges to get to the chest. I opened it and got the Monte Carlo. To this day I have not seen this cliff face again. Pretty sure it's in the Gorgon Maze. I don't want to feed conspiracy theories.....but can anyone corroborate?
