I agreed with most of his points even though I am not remotely burned out myself. His carrots analogy was a little broken. I think it's more accurate to say that the carrots themselves 1. are too few and 2. just become unappealing when you chase them for so long without any prospect of getting one. (Thanks, RNG.)
